The Meridian Norstar StarTalk Flash voice mail system is the replacement for the very popular StarTalk Mini call processing system. The Flash come in either a two channel or four channel configuration. It can accommodate either 24 or 48 voice mailboxes, and either ninety or one hundred eighty minutes of voice storage. The Flash also offers, as standard features, cascading off premise message notification, and integrated calling line identification. The Flash can even transfer callers live off premise through the custom call routing option, and allow callers to connect directly with your on call technician, sales rep, customer service, or with any local or long distance telephone number.

Auto Attendant, Cascading Off-Premise Message Notification, and Integrated Calling Line ID.

Auto Receptionist - It can work completely on its own. Auto Attendant features act like a dynamic receptionist, making sure your Norstar business phone is answered promptly and properly, 24 hours a day.

Auto Operator - It can route and reroute calls. Custom Call Routing features act like a super-efficient switchboard operator, using Auto Attendant to bypass the receptionist and make sure important outside calls are routed directly to the person the caller wants to speak with.

Auto Messenger - It can record and send voice messages. Voice Mail features act like an electronic messenger, making sure to accurately record what your caller said and how they said it. And the it stores your messages in your very own mailbox. Incoming callers hear a greeting in your own voice.

Software Feature Cartridge:
1)Is removable, contains the voice mail software and system voice prompts.
2)consists of a Personal Computer Memory Card International (PCMCIA) Read Only Memory (ROM) Card.
Power Supply: 1)converts AC line voltage to +5 Volts DC.
2)is connected to the StarTalk FLASH module using a 5-pin connector.
Station Port Connector: 2-port: station port connection for the StarTalk FLASH model 2 system.
4-port: extra station port connection required for the StarTalk FLASH
model 4 system. (Must have the four voice channel expansion cartridge installed.)
RS-232 port: used to connect a serial printer or terminal
Expansion Cartridge: allows the module to be upgraded from a two voice channel system to a four voice channel system.
